With its innovative second-generation Aeroweave upper, Powerstrap Aeroweave is a straight up racing shoe: the lightest and most breathable in the range, built with a high-tenacity net-like structure coupled with our stiffest carbon outsole.

AEROWEAVE
The pursuit of reducing weight and increasing ventilation while maintaining support and protection led our designers and engineers to develop an entirely new material: Aeroweave. Now in its second generation, Aeroweave woven fabric interlaces nylon fibers with filaments of thermoplastic polymers for an even lighter shoe that doesn’t lose its original tenacity, providing the strength and support required in competition.

POWERSTRAP
While most traditional Velcro closures simply pull together both sides of the shoe’s upper, in the Vento Powerstrap configuration, a ribbon wraps around the foot, providing secure containment using just two straps. The instep and the midfoot are separately adjustable for customized fit and compression, and now, these straps have been streamlined to make them even lighter and stronger.

R3 OUTSOLE
Vento Powerstrap Aeroweave also features an entirely new outsole, the R3, engineered with an updated carbon fiber layup and new design to save weight without compromising stiffness. With an index of 10, the R3 is a stiff outsole providing optimal power transfer. Two wide vent inlets and deep internal channelling enable a cooling airflow, contributing to temperature management.     VOLUME CONTROL SYSTEM
    The Volume Control system allows for differentiated fit adjustments for the instep and forefoot areas–the shape and volume of which can vary widely between riders.     SUPPORT AND COMFORT
    A dedicated piece of the shoe’s upper wraps around the plantar arch and can be precisely adjusted for a perfect fit and improved support of the plantar fascia using the latest Li2 BOA® Platform. The volume of the forefoot area can be controlled via the Infinito, a signature fit-configuration feature. The Infinito balances tension and further eliminates pressure hot spots by using BOA® textile lace guides.     R2 CARBON OUTSOLE
    The updated Infinito also features an entirely new outsole with an engineered carbon fibre layup that saves weight and delivers increased stiffness. With a stiffness index rating of 10, this outsole is the stiffest in the fizik range. A wide vent inlet and deep internal channelling provide a cooling airflow, aiding in temperature regulation.     Using Carbon technology, biomechanists and engineers have an unprecedented possibility: to design and manufacture multiple functional zones within the saddle, tuning each of them separately for specific mechanical properties.Each of these key functional zones is engineered with a distinctive cushioning and mechanical response, joined together progressively and seamlessly in the same padding.

    LAB TESTED, ROAD PROVEN
    Professional cyclists and amateur riders were tested in both the fizik labs and on the road. During each development phase, every iteration was carefully tested.     Inspired by the tears and triumphs of the Monuments of Cycling, the Tempo Overcurve R4 Les Classiques edition road shoes deliver powerful performance, from pavé to tarmac, with a mud-flecked motif announcing you’ll answer when the cobbles call.

    Behind the Overcurve R4’s mud-flecked aesthetic lies an advanced construction technique: a resilient, polyurethane-laminated material is combined over a comfortable mesh, reducing energy loss and providing long-lasting foot support where it’s most needed.

    OVERCURVE
    Shoe closure is fast, reliable and secure, powered by a micro-adjustable BOA® IP1 dial in an Overcurve pattern. The Overcurve shoe construction features a staggered collar that wraps around the ankle, tracing the natural alignment of the ankle’s two bony protrusions: the lateral and medial malleoli. The result is an asymmetrical shape, with the throat of the shoe curving over the foot from its outside to its inner side.

    R4 OUTSOLE
    The moderately stiff R4 outsole strikes a balance between comfort and pedalling efficiency to make it a true all-rounder, featuring a lower profile structurally optimized with a 15% infused carbon fiber composition.
